Composite Materials and Hydrogen Storage

MAHYTEC is a French SME located in Dole - France - and created in 2008. MAHYTEC, which stands for MAterials HYdrogen TEChnology, has two core business ;
First MAHYTEC is specialized in Composite materials for energy applications (pipe, vessel, offshore applications...).
The second core business of MAHYTEC is the storage of hydrogen, whether it involves high pressure or solid storage for small and large volumes.

Composite Materials and Hydrogen Storage

What we offer

MAHYTEC has two core businesses.
- MAHYTEC designs and manufactures composite structures for energy applications. We make the most of our know-how in the design of axisymmetric composite structures and of our experience in the filament winding process to manufacture high mechanical strength pipes, tanks and vessels and other offshore applications.
- Concerning hydrogen storage, MAHYTEC designs and manufactures both high pressure and solid storage through hydrides. High pressure tanks designed by MAHYTEC are made to resist to extreme pressures. They are made up of a liner and a composite reinforcement structure. MAHYTEC also designs, manufactures and tests solid storage hydrogen tanks for on-board systems.

What we are looking for

We are looking forward to meeting decision makers and investors of the industrial sector.

- Our engineering departement would be useful to any composite materials manufacturers who wish to characterize their glass or carbon fibers. Our know how would be also interesting for companies developing applications that require from the materials strenght and durability.

- Our tanks are capable of storing high quality hydrogen suitable for the supply of fuel cells or internal combustion engine. So we would like to meet any end users requiring clean power for ICE or Fuel cell.
